Louis Mariette in a heady whirlwind of high glamour and style at Milan Fashion Week
Being invited to Milan by cutting edge Cellotape magazine to be content creator is not for the faint hearted!
A kaleidoscope of high glamour of the most talented designers in unique locations.
Highlights included seeing Peruvian designer J.Salinas’ intricate crafted collection executed with technical precision, as well as Barbara Rizzi in the spectacular castle backdrop of Castello Sforzesco.
Exploring hotels like the contemporary luxurious Portrait Hotel and the regal classic Grand Hotel Milan added a sumptuous touch to the glamourous proceedings.
Swishing into the launch gallery of the talented photographer Filippofortis was quite a treat.
But let’s be honest, a trip has to be completed with a shopping hop into the boutiques such as Cavalli, Vuitton and Valentino, ”Moda di lusso”.
The occasion was made all the more special working with the talented contemporary motion videographer Pietro Menditto, magazine founder Michael Dye my fabulous co-host Jessika Sigmund.
Well, someone had to do the hard work in Italy!!!

Louis Mariette loves the anticipation of a new collection, fully appreciating the endless dedication designers go through : inspiration, creating the garments, financing, production, executing the show with endless logistics and of course resulting in sales.
Louis Mariette enjoyed interviewing for the Selenee collection, luxuriant, sharp tailoring and innovative fabrics. Louis Mariette also interviewed the designer Yaku. His show was like a movie set and designs powerful enough to be in a film!
