Michael Dye’s friendship with Louis Mariette goes back 30 years. He was responsible as creative director/stylist for creating Louis Mariette’s millinery journey. Commissioning him for a catwalk show in Milan, Italy at Mussolini’s iconic train station with an Orient Express theme full of luxury 1950’s style and glamour. Louis Mariette designed 18 hats and headpieces that later saw him get a commission from Harrods and TV appearances.
Their friendship has continued to flourish and Michael Dye has recently appointed Louis Mariette as content creator for the magazine, where Louis Mariette can be seen covering fascinating subjects and events on their social media platforms.

ASIA CUP POLO
Louis Mariette was honoured and privileged to be invited by the owner and founder Neil Sen to collaborate at his 26th Annual Asia Cup Polo International weekend event at Winkfield Park Polo Club in the Royal County of Berkshire.
This dazzling and glamorous event showcased some of the finest world class quality high energy polo players and ponies in quintessentially British parkland.
VIP hospitality in marquees provided sumptuous dining for the prestige guests by Chakra, with various luxury brands such as Jacquart champagne and Mercedes.
Louis Mariette was invited to compère on stage to introduce the catwalks. Showcasing amongst the guests were an array of fabulous ladies wearing Louis Mariette millinery adding to the extravaganza.
This was a highlight of the British summer, as Louis Mariette declared, "Hats, hosting, polo, fabulous guests over a glass of Pimm's and flowing bubbly all around me is a milliner's perfect day out"!
