This extraordinary photoshoot is a heartfelt tribute to indigenous tribes and their fragile existence in an ever-changing world. Inspired by a childhood spent in Botswana, close to the Kalahari Sans Bushmen, the shoot highlights the global plight of indigenous communities facing the loss of their land, rights, and heritage. It’s a call to cherish and protect the wonders of our earth, celebrating their irreplaceable beauty and resilience.
Princess Neptune
Photographer: Zena Holloway
This unforgettable shoot was a collaboration with Zena Holloway, a globally acclaimed underwater photographer. Zena commissioned a waterproof, dramatic headpiece inspired by the mythical Sea Siren. I incorporated custom made crown jewels, pearls, silk roses, and scallop shells, embodying beauty and mystery.
The shoot took place in Pinewood Studios’ iconic water tank, famously used for James Bond films. The challenge was complex: the model had to swim to the submerged headpiece, position it flawlessly, and strike a perfect pose while safety divers flanked her. Remarkably, she nailed the shot in a single take, leaving the team in awe.
Years later, I was asked to recreate the scene on Britain’s Next Top Model. With novice models, it was a nerve-wracking yet rewarding day, ending with all participants safe and successful.
This project exemplifies the power of creative collaboration and achieving extraordinary results through vision and precision.
This project remains a testament to pushing creative boundaries and the magic of seamless collaboration.
Official Milliner – Investec Derby
Being appointed the milliner for the prestigious Investec Derby was a career highlight. Designing a headpiece for the captivating Erin O'Connor, the event's face, was pure delight. The design, inspired by the African Lilac-Breasted Roller bird, featured pleated Jim Thompson Thai silk. Surrounded by stylish hats and fabulous attendees, it was a milliner’s dream come true.

Chapeau d'Amour
Photographer: Alice Wilby
Created for Harrods’ new hat and wedding department, this platinum and diamond masterpiece was a labour of love. Using a rare platinum fabric sourced from the Platinum Guild in Tokyo and diamonds on loan, the design came to life in the most surreal of settings - Mauritius and Bird Island. The hat, inspired by bluebells at Cliveden House, became the world’s most expensive hat, gracing exhibitions from Dubai to Christie’s. Years later, the inspiration came full circle during a milestone birthday celebration at Cliveden House.
